Superhero Sidekick BRIO Travel Platform Unveiled at GBTA
What an exciting time we had at the Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) Convention in Boston. In addition to an impressive list of educational sessions, inspirational speakers, and networking events, the expo floor was packed with vendors showcasing many new products and services for the business travel industry—GroundLink being one of them.
On Sunday, July 16 we unveiled our new travel technology platform exclusively for managed business travel, BRIO. Based on extensive research with business travelers, travel arrangers, and corporate travel managers, we developed BRIO to alleviate the everyday frustrations of booking ground transportation. This includes taking the guesswork out (and removing the stress) of calculating travel times by providing suggested pickup times, ETAs, integrated arrival flight data, and ride tracking.
In addition, BRIO links travelers with their travel arranger, and automatically saves their history and preferences, making for faster and more accurate repeat bookings. Arrangers can easily book multiple rides in one seamless step with linked airport and return rides. The new booking tool also provides full visibility of both real-time travel and past travel details, and includes many features to support corporate travel policy compliance.
Every day travel managers and arrangers are asked to manage travel with the utmost efficiency, negotiate the best rates, keep a watchful eye over travel spend, and sometimes make the impossible possible. While a few of these heroes may have secret super powers, most are just amazingly good at their jobs, but could still use a good sidekick to streamline their efforts. This is where BRIO comes in.
BRIO enables both the arranger and the traveler the convenience and speed that they’ve grown accustomed too without sacrificing the safety, security and policy compliance that is vital to the travel manager and the company’s bottom line. With complete web, mobile web, and mobile app integration, BRIO keeps passengers, professional drivers, arrangers, and travel managers in complete sync.
Thank you to the many GBTA attendees who visited our booth and gave us great feedback on our new product. We look forward to rolling out BRIO this fall. In the meantime, you can visit http://www.groundlink.com/brio for more information and to sign up for product updates.
