Must-Visit Spots in The Hamptons

Believe it or not, summer will, unfortunately, come to a close soon in New York.

Have you made the most of your summer so far? If not, the good news is you still have a few more weeks of summer fun. Here are five must-visit spots in the Hamptons for you to visit from now through Labor Day Weekend.

Cooper’s Beach

Each year, Cooper’s Beach, located in Southampton, is voted one of the top 10 public beaches in the United States, and with good reason! Cooper’s Beach is known for its white quartz sand, clean water, grass-covered dunes, and fantastic waves. You can park your car for a day, but you’re better off having your own Hamptons Private Driver drop you off. Make sure you find time to visit this beautiful beach!

Mashomack Preserve on Shelter Island

The Mashomack Preserve on Shelter Island is an 11-mile preserve of coastline, creeks, woodlands, and fields. This is one of the more interesting places to visit, as many forget there is such a place in The Hamptons to hike and explore.

Sag Harbor

Sag Harbor offers a variety of things to do. You can watch a show at the famous Bay Street Theater, see the World War II Memorial, golf at Sag Harbor Golf Course, visit one of its many antique shops, or simply relax by the bay at Havens Beach.

Montauk

At the Eastern end of Long Island is Montauk, NY. Montauk is as far as you can go on Long Island, and is always an exciting way to escape the city. Its beaches are among the best in the country, but Montauk is also known for its impressive 70-foot high bluffs along the coast. You’ll have to check out Montauk Point State Park for some incredible hikes and views. Wherever you decide to go in Montauk, make sure you make time to visit the iconic Montauk Lighthouse.

Greenport

If you choose to explore the North Fork of Long Island, consider taking a day trip to Greenport. Greenport is a charming village with beaches, shops, and restaurants for everyone, and has been a popular family destination for decades. If you decide to go, make sure you stop by Claudio’s – Greenport’s famous seafood restaurant and bar.
