Undoubtedly the most well-known of all of Honolulu’s beaches, Waikiki Beach is famous for its incredible location near Diamondhead on the island of Oahu. Close to most of the hotels and nightlife as well, Waikiki Beach is open the public, so at times can get crowded.
Best known for being the setting for a famous scene in the classic film, “From Here To Eternity”, Eternity Beach boasts a lovely beach, however, beach shoes are recommended as there are a good deal of rocks and boulders present.
Described as “stunning”, Waimanalo Beach has white sand beaches and turquoise water, as well as waves fit for surfers. It is less touristy, though, and does require transportation to get to. But it’s worth it!
San Souci State Park
A local favorite, San Souci (meaning “without worry” in French) is not far but far enough away from the hustle and bustle of other Honolulu beaches. Tranquil and chill, this beach is a popular choice for Hawaii’s incredible sunsets.
